ENGLISH-EFFECTS OF ENCYCLOPEDIA OF RELIGION ON SCHOLARS PERFORMANCE AT UNIVERSITY LEVEL

Abstract

Effects of Encyclopedia of Religion on Scholars Performance at University Level were a new study. The objectives of the study were: (1) to identify the encyclopedia of religion at higher level; (2) to examine the effects of encyclopedia of religion on Scholars’ performance at higher level. The study was very significant for the university level Scholars, through which they can do their investigations very effectively. All the religious department of (18) public sector universities were constituted as the population for this study. A sample of (80) scholars from three religious departments of public sector universities were selected randomly. Questionnaire was developed as research instrument. Data were collected through Questionnaire from the M. Phil and Ph. D. Scholars of religious study. Simple statistics were applied. It is recommended that religious students and especially scholars must need to study Encyclopedia of Religion for strengthen their knowledge, critical thinking. It is recommended that scholars must read it with the Quranic Dictionary, scholars must strong their English language, especially literary term in the Encyclopedia of Religion, and scholars have to learn religious terminologies.
